The Earth-friendly Smoothie Guide

 

The Formula

  • 1-2 cups liquid base
  • 2 cups of fruit
  • 1 handful veggies
  • Few tablespoons of boosters

 

Pick one or more ingredients of each type (we have some suggestions below to get you started), blend everything until smooth, serve and enjoy.

 

Base

  • Non-dairy milk
  • Water
  • Juice
  • Your favorite liquid

 

Fruit (pick at least two)

  • Berries
  • Bananas (frozen makes a thicker smoothie)
  • Apple
  • Mango

 

Veggies

  • Spinach
  • Chard
  • Kale
  • Carrots

 

Boosters

  • Nut butter
  • Flax seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Protein powder
